About Me

My name is Aidan Marquardt and I am from Asheville, which is really convenient because it is so close to Western when I have to leave for break. Western Carolina University was my original choice for college because I had heard so much about their impressive Criminal Justice program. During the first few weeks that I was at WCU I actually became very interested in working out and starting this semester I will be hopefully majoring in Athletic Training or Nutrition and Dietetics. Right now I have a total competition weight of 1,090 pounds which is three exercises; bench-press, dead-lift, and squat. I would like it to reach somewhere around 1400 pounds by the time I finish my four years at Western. Some of the other activities I am interested in are mountain biking and snowboarding. It is not very convenient to live in Western North Carolina if you enjoy snowboarding because although it does get very, very cold the snow is not consistent. That is why I would like to eventually go to graduate school for Physical Therapy at somewhere like the University of Colorado if I did not stay here and complete Western’s two year program.
